The Arts at LPBC

LPBC Adult Choir

LPBC's Adult Choir consists of several Lindley Park members who enjoy praising God through song. Many believe that there is a special time to join a church choir or there is an audition process, but in truth it just takes a moment on a Sunday morning to share your interest in joining. You can even show up at our weekly Wednesday rehearsals at 7:30pm and we will find a part just right for you. The Adult Choir shares music during our worship service and performs a Christmas and Easter cantata each year. The Adult Choir has also been featured at TFNT and at our outreach mission at local nursing homes.

LPBC Praise Team

Our praise team brings the best of contemporary Christian music to our service through singing with our congregation and selecting some newer arrangements for special music. Our praise team consists of vocals and piano, but we would love to add more musicians (guitarist, drummer, etc). If you are looking for a way to praise God through song, we would love to have you join our team. We rehearse on Wednesdays at 8:30pm and we lead the congregation in song at our worship service.

Inner Rhythm Choir

Inner Rhythm Choir has been a fantastic mission of our church for over 40 years! Inner Rhythm Choir brings in about thirty members from across the Triad to rehearse and perform beloved tunes from across the ages. Inner Rhythm Choir seeks to create an environment for adults with special needs that is inclusive, creative, and educational and brings joy into each members week. Inner Rhythm Choir rehearses on Thursdays at 7pm in the Sanctuary. We are always accepting new members and we hold a Fall, Winter, and Spring concert.
If you are interested in joining, please contact Jordan Hart ( for more information.

Exceptional Friends Arts Studio

We are very proud to partner with Mr. Robert (Bob) Postma and
provide studio space in which he leads private and group painting
sessions with his exceptional friends.
From the News and Record Article about Exceptional Friends -

"Exceptional Friends Arts Studio started 17 years ago. I had worked for the Department of Exceptional Children of Guilford County Schools for 15 years at Gateway Education Center. I was a substitute teacher and then was an assistant teacher at Kiser and then Grimsley High School. The last year at Grimsley, we were very fortunate to have some extra space, which freed me up to try a studio, establish a studio setting. I decided to step out in faith to see if the need for special programs could be met by an art studio. So, I retired at 60 from Guilford County Schools and established Exceptional Friends Arts Studio. The focus is structure and working with folks with special needs and recognizing that in the art studio."
