Frequently Asked Questions about LPBC
Where is Lindley Park Baptist located?
We are located at the corner of Walker St. and Holden Rd. Our address is 4010 Walker Avenue Greensboro, NC 27403. Please see Directions for further information.
Where do I park?
You are more than welcome to park in our lot off of Holden Road. We also have parking along the side of our building and in the gravel lot behind our building.
When is your Worship Service?
Our service begins at 11 o'clock and concludes around noon to 12:15pm. Our worship service is a blended service with both traditional aspects and contemporary aspects. We seek to create a holy space each and every Sunday morning as well as any time one or more of us are gathered.
What about Sunday School?
Lindley Park has a diverse range of Sunday School options. When entering the building on your first visit you will be greeted by ushers who will be able to direct you to the Sunday school class that you would like to attend. We have classes for children, adults, and adults with special needs.
What should I wear?
You may see someone dressed in a suit and another person wearing jeans and flip flops. We do not expect any particular attire since our sole purpose is to create a meaningful connection with God.
What opportunities do my children have at Lindley Park?
We love when our children can grow up in the faith, so we pay special attention to discipling our young visitors and members. Children may start upstairs in our Sunday School classes at 9:45am or in the nursery located in the rear area of the church at 9:45am. Children are escorted to the sanctuary by Sunday School leaders and may sit with family or on our "children's row" where they have activity books and are monitored by the Sunday School leader. We do have a special Moment for Children during our service where children may come to the front of the church to learn a lesson from the Bible. You also have the option to send your child out to participate in Agents for Christ which has special meetings and field trips through out the year.
How can I become a member?
There are several ways we accept new members into the fellowship. One of the easiest ways is to express your interest in membership to our pastor through a public or private statement with our pastor. Please see our Membership Page for more details.
If I want to serve in ministry, where do I start?
We welcome you! We need you! Serving plays a major role, not only in the health of the church, but in your life as well. You can start by looking at our Get Involved Page. You will find a contact person for each of these opportunities.
